Shaseevan Ganeshananthan

Shaseevan Ganeshananthan is a dynamic business leader and an entrepreneur with a passion for technology and innovation. He is the Group CEO of Xebiro Group, a global organization that provides technological and business process services to over 250 companies worldwide.

Under his leadership, Xebiro Group has successfully helped businesses in various industries with marketing, software development, financial accounting, IT infrastructure management, customer support center services, human resource management & recruitment services, legal services, research and development, and more.

Shaseevan is also the Co-Founder of Bankoyo, a London-based Fintech company that specializes in the development of a digital banking ecosystem. The platform has been well tested and used by multiple organizations in their day-to-day operations. Shaseevan's entrepreneurial spirit is further demonstrated as a Director of EmbryoZ, where he works with entrepreneurs, enterprises, and investors to establish successful businesses by providing support and resources to help ideas become fully functional products.

He is also the Director of CodeLantic, a software development company that provides custom software, web/mobile applications, and enterprise application development. Prior to his current roles, Shaseevan served as the Software Development Manager at Vectone Mobile, where he worked with the Product team to plan and execute software projects, ensure teams had appropriate resources to deliver products effectively, collaborated with the Product Management in defining the product vision, provided a software development plan that met future market needs, and monitored the team's progress to ensure they were working to their full potential.

In addition to his professional work, Shaseevan Ganeshathasan is a co-founder of Noolaham Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to digitizing and preserving Sri Lankan Tamil literature. He served as a board member for the Noolaham, which provides access to a vast collection of digitized Sri Lankan Tamil literature.

Sajeev Edward

Sajeev Edward is a highly experienced marketing and research professional with a career spanning over a decade. He is currently serving as the VP of Marketing and Partnership at Xebiro Group, a UK based Sri Lankan company that offers a range of technological and business process services to over 250 companies worldwide. He is also involved in forging partnerships with other organizations to expand Xebiro Group's offerings and reach.

Sajeev served as Director and CMO at OntoMatrix, a full-service digital marketing agency based in Sri Lanka. At OntoMatrix, Sajeev helps numerous SMEs harness the power of digital marketing to grow their businesses. His team offers a wide range of services, including paid search marketing, SEO, social media marketing, content marketing, and website design and development Before his work in marketing and advertising, Sajeev worked as a research manager at Dimensions Research & Marketing Consultancy in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, he provided marketing research consultancy to major clients to help them come up with actionable business strategies.

Sajeev also spent several years as a consultant in data analytics at Stax Inc. a US based firm in Sri Lanka, where he worked with private equity firms and Fortune 500 companies. His work at Stax included conducting market segmentation and competitive landscape studies, designing and conducting market studies, and supporting ongoing business intelligence efforts. Sajeev has a BSc in Physical Science from the University of Colombo and a Postgraduate Diploma in Statistics from the University of Peradeniya. He also has a Bachelor's degree in Management Accountants from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Premkumar Rajathurai

Premkumar Rajathurai is an accomplished technology leader with a rich and diverse professional journey. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Xebiro Group since January 2020, Premkumar has been instrumental in shaping the company's engineering landscape, driving innovation and strategic growth. He also holds the position of Director of Technology & Chief Technology Officer at CodeLantic from September 2019. In this capacity, he plays a crucial role in defining technology strategies and fostering a culture of innovation within the organization.

With nearly four years at Xebiro Group and over four years at Codelantic, Premkumar's expertise in technology leadership and strategic planning has significantly contributed to the success of both companies.Premkumar's professional journey includes impactful roles at various technology firms. He served as an Associate Architect at Limark Technologies, focusing on developing robust technological solutions for six months. At Auxenta, he held key positions, including Associate Architect - Technology and Senior Consultant - Technology, where his tenure of almost three years was marked by designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions.

His contributions also extend to Millennium IT, where he worked as a Senior Consultant for a year and four months. Notably, he played versatile roles at JKCS, serving as a Senior Consultant/Senior Solutions Designer, Technical Leader/Solution Designer, and Senior Solution Developer over a span of five years, showcasing his multifaceted skill set and unwavering commitment to excellence. Premkumar Rajathurai initiated his professional journey as a Software Engineer at Virtusa, where he honed his skills in software development for two years and three months.

His educational foundation includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Special Degree from the University of Colombo School of Computing. Committed to staying updated with the latest technologies, he earned industry-recognized certifications, including AWS Certified Developer – Associate and Java EE 5 Web Component Developer Certified Professional, showcasing his dedication to continuous learning and professional growth.

Maheswaran Novapratheep is a dedicated and accomplished professional in the realms of accounting and corporate management, boasting a rich tapestry of experiences spanning diverse industries. His journey through the corporate world has been marked by an unwavering commitment to excellence and an innate ability to drive results.

Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Xebiro Pvt Ltd since October 2022, Maheswaran shoulders the significant responsibility of overseeing the accounting and finance department for both the parent company and its subsidiary entities. His role entails delivering regular updates to the Board of Directors, a task that requires a keen eye for detail and a profound understanding of financial dynamics. He also supervises a subsidiary company providing BPO services for accounting and finance, where he meticulously reviews and approves financial statements, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

Financial Mastery: Maheswaran has proven his expertise in the complete gamut of financial processes, from Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to bank reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements. His proficiency in financial projections and budgeting has consistently ensured the financial health and stability of the organizations he has served. Strategic Leadership: At Brown and Company PLC, where he served as a Business Analyst from October 2015 to August 2020, Maheswaran engaged in management accounting activities that covered costing, pricing, working capital management, taxation, and project management. His strategic prowess extended to government tender pricing, supply chain management, credit control, and MIS reporting.

International Exposure: During his tenure at HSBC, Maheswaran was entrusted with supervising fund administration and transfer agency operations. His role involved overseeing fund administrators, liaising with fund managers, and spearheading the migration of a new ERP system. Additionally, he ensured compliance with financial regulations and standards. Diverse Experience: Maheswaran's career journey began at KPMG Sri Lanka as a Trainee Associate, where he gained exposure to a wide array of industries, including construction, banking, financial services, plantations, manufacturing, forestry, insurance, and logistics. His roles encompassed financial reporting, risk management, compliance, and IT advisory.

Maheswaran is well-versed in a spectrum of information technology tools and accounting software, such as XERO, Quickbooks, Sage 50 Cloud, Zoho Books, Tally ERP, Oracle ERP, and Microsoft Dynamics. Academically, Maheswaran is a Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and holds an Associate Membership with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK). He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Honors from the University of Northwood (USA).

Dr. Guruparan Kumaravadivel

Dr. Kumaravadivel Guruparan is a practicing lawyer based in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. He practices law in Sri Lanka specialising in civil appellate litigation, property law, law of trusts, administrative law and human rights law. He is developing a practice in commercial law. He is also the Founding Director of the Jaffna Institute for Law and Policy which he founded in July 2023.

He was previously a Research Fellow in International Law at the Royal Institute for International Affairs Chatham House) between March and September 2021.

Prior to that he was a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Jaffna and served the University in various capacities between 2010 and 2020 including as Head, Department of Law.

He holds an LL.B (Hons) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Colombo and as a Chevening Scholar obtained a BCL (Masters in Law) from Balliol College, University of Oxford. On a Commonwealth Scholarship he obtained his PhD from University College London in Public International Law and Comparative Constitutional Law. He received his secondary education from Jaffna Hindu College.

Kumaravadivel Guruparan was the founding Executive Director of Adayaalam Centre for Policy Research, a think tank based in Jaffna and is currently the Chair of its Board of Directors between 2016 and 2020. He is a founder-member and was Co-Spokesperson of the Tamil Civil Society Forum from 2010 to 2020.

Arj Wignaraja is a Growth Alchemist at Good Life X, a catalyst for conscious consumers, investors, and socially responsible enterprises. He is also an Advisor, and formerly Vice President at Cerberus Frontier, the frontier markets investment arm of Cerberus Capital Management, a large US private equity fund. Additionally, Arj is a founder of Remote Sensing Metrics, which provides proprietary insights to Wall Street investment firms based on satellite and aerial imagery.

Arj is passionate about challenging business owners, senior management and entrepreneurs to lead with Purpose, and to explore growth opportunities that are well beyond their comfort zones. His expertise includes working with current and next-generation business leaders to articulate a compelling Purpose for themselves and their organizations, and to translate that into clear roadmaps for growth.

Arj started his career at The Boston Consulting Group, where he helped formulate business strategies for Fortune 500 clients. He then joined Stax, a boutique consulting firm in Boston. Over two decades at Stax, he helped establish their Chicago office, where he was a Director, and established their Asia presence by founding the Colombo, Sri Lanka office as Managing Director. More recently Arj served as a Senior Advisor at Stax, working with Sri Lankan corporates on their growth and investment strategies.

He is a Non-Executive Director at Cenmetrix (a leader in asset & infrastructure digitization), Asia Securities (a leading investment advisor), and Director at Magellan Champlain (a global mobility specialist). He was a Board Member of the Lankan Angel Network (LAN, which promotes entrepreneurship and provides seed funding for startups). Arj was also Chairperson of the South East Asia Leadership Academy (SEALA, a game changing bootcamp for leaders from the region). Arj holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a B.A. in Economics, with honors, from Princeton University.

Jekhan Aruliah

Born in Sri Lanka, Jekhan emigrated to the UK with his family at the age of 2 years in 1966. He was brought up in London, he won a full scholarship to one of the leading public schools, Kings College School in Wimbledon. He graduated from Cambridge University in 1986 with a degree in Natural Sciences (maths and physics).

After graduating Jekhan entered the IT industry in the UK, in the Financial Services sector. in 1993 he joined a British company developing ERP applications which was outsourcing software development to Sri Lanka. He was sent to Colombo as the expatriate manager. He remained in Colombo until the year 2000, during which time he setup a dotcom application development company. While in Colombo Jekhan met and married a young woman, and in 1996 they had a son. In 2000 the family returned to the UK. In his career in the IT industry Jekhan has worked for large and small companies, end-users and developers, mainstream development and dotcom, and has managed teams in the UK, Sri Lanka and India.

In 2009 Jekhan changed career to become a secondary school maths teacher in London. Here he learned how to communicate ideas effectively to people of varied ability and interests, a crucial skill for teachers and for writers. Sadly, in 2013 Jekhan's wife passed away having suffered a chronic illness. Once his son entered university in the UK in 2015, Jekhan decided to return to Jaffna in Sri Lanka.

In Jaffna Jekhan is a strong supporter of economic development. He has invested his own and family money putting up a mixed purpose building in Jaffna Town. He has worked with the Northern Province education system to promote English Language, sports and tourism. He supports and mentors Northern entrepreneurs, from startups to established businesses already exporting goods. Jekhan is an active supporter of Yarl IT Hub, an internationally based organisation that aims to boost the IT industry in the Northern Province. He advises investors whose objective is to develop the Northern economy. Jekhan writes a regular column in the Lanka Business Online news site, which focusses on economic development, entrepreneurs, and business opportunities. He is regularly contacted by NGOs and embassies for information on Northern Province economic development.
